Customizing Complications & Interactive Slots

Complications give you the flexibility to add your own personal data—such as weather, step count, heart rate, battery percentage, or calendar events—directly onto your dial.

SXZ UNIVERSE watch faces offer three distinct slot options for maximum customization:

  1. Data Display Complications: Render live real-time metrics (weather, steps, battery, date) on dial indicators.
  2. Visible App Shortcuts: Display visible app icons for 1-tap launching of tools like Alarms, Timers, or Music Players.
  3. Invisible / Transparent Quick-Access Zones: Hidden touch zones placed over native design elements. They allow instant 1-tap app execution while keeping your watch face 100% clean and clutter-free.

Important Visual Nuances: AOD vs EcoGridleMod

Always-On Display (AOD) Settings

When adjusting opacity, dimming levels, or specific AOD features during customization, these changes will NOT appear on the active screen preview. They are engineered specifically for ambient mode and only activate when your watch enters Always-On Display (AOD) mode.

EcoGridleMod Visual Preview

Unlike standard AOD settings, EcoGridleMod IS visible directly on the customization preview screen. When enabled, small grid dots appear on the preview layout, allowing you to see the exact battery-saving pixel pattern before applying it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Opacity and dimming controls for Always-On Display (AOD) are designed exclusively for ambient mode and will only take effect once your watch screen dims into AOD.

Yes! EcoGridleMod displays fine grid dots directly on the customization preview screen so you can inspect the battery-saving layout in real time.

Invisible shortcuts are transparent touch zones that let you tap specific design elements on the watch face to open apps without placing extra icons over the design.
